Notes & Comments for amd64-Architecture:

The PCI 3ware raidcontr. card was added.

We disabled the following devices in the BIOS. All, except the SATA Contr. was detected by the kernel.
Floppy Disk Controller
Serial Ports
Parallel Port
USB
SATA Controller

To get more than 3 GB memory working you must enable "Memory Hole Remapping" in the BIOS
The kernel will detect 
real memory  = 5368709120 (5120 MB)
avail memory = 4118855680 (3928 MB)
The kernel boot slower but the system is working good like before with only 3GB.

If you want to use the PowerNow tech. enable it in the BIOS and use the cpufreq.ko kernel modul with the
powerd. Works fine!
