Notes & Comments for i386-Architecture:

The onboard SATA controller (part of the broadcom chipset) was disabled and a 3ware raidcontr. card was added.
With Freebsd 6.1 Release i386 SMP it was NOT possible to get more than 3GB RAM working. We could not build
a kernel with "options PAE".
The onboard Broadcom NICs embedded in the BCM5780 where not detected by the kernel.
