Notes: The USB Controller, SATA and IDE channels were disabled at this time for debugging purposes. Both 1.0.0 and 1.0.2 BIOSes have been tested. 1.0.2 is strongly recommended due to ZCR, Hypertransport, and console redirection fixes. ACPI is fully functional and compilable with 1 warning on this board. I have not tested hardware monitoring yet, but will send an update when I have. You must run 5.3-RELEASE or 6-CURRENT. This is running amd64 native with IA32_COMPAT enabled as well. Zero Channel RAID (PCI-X 4) with LSI Ultra320-0 is confirmed supported. The driver is currently being fixed to correct 64-bit uncleanliness. (Sep 14 2004) When using ZCR, the LSI Logic 320-0 must be upgraded to 1Z33 or later firmware. Onboard SCSI-U320 (LSI Logic 53c1030, uses mpt(4)) is confirmed supported but misbehaves. May be driver. Still investigating. Console redirect does not work unless FreeBSD is also told to use serial console. Reason/cause unknown. All BIOSes redirect properly. (Motherboard, Broadcom, LSI Logic.) Board must use Crucial or ATP ECC Registered Memory. PC2700 or PC3200 is recommended, depending on processors.
